About the Role

The Communications Manager will be an important member of the FMRI Programme Office helping to deliver NERC's future marine research infrastructure. We will ask you to develop, own and deliver a forward-looking communications plan that can drive the realisation of FMRI's vision for world class research infrastructure. You will be expected to lead the mapping of stakeholders, using this information to shape messaging, identify and manage the optimal channels for communications, and translate complex ideas into compelling and accessible content.

Host Institution: National Oceanography Centre

About You

We are looking for someone who can integrate the vision for FMRI with the preferences of stakeholders to develop clear and compelling messaging for the programme. Someone who can craft a persuasive narrative that builds momentum and support for the transformation. Someone who can articulate the value of what we are seeking to accomplish.

You will be an experienced communications professional who is able to work collaboratively with the leadership team, programme office and other stakeholders to prepare inspiring content that can support the FMRI transformation. You will be able to think tactically, demonstrating leadership and ownership for a communications plan that can drive and enable change.
